Theme/Objective: To provide insight among students about their skills or abilities that will further help them to make the right decision in terms of stream selection after X.

An aptitude test is a structured assessment that aims to evaluate the talent in completing certain tasks without any prior knowledge or training. They are used to assess candidates in terms of their skills, knowledge, ability and personality.  Our school in association with wonderskool (WonderSkool offers workshops on career awareness, and one-on-one sessions, and aptitude tests, targeting students from Class 9 to 12.)has conducted aptitude testing  for students of class X. Knowledge of interest, dominating personality style and high aptitude areas help the students to make wise decisions and choose stream accordingly. After aptitude testing results were discussed with the students along with their parents during individual career counselling sessions. Queries made by the parents and students were also taken  such as what are career options after selecting different streams. Students were encouraged to talk about their wishes and fantasies so that practical aspects can be shown and need for achievement can be ignited. 25 students enrolled for the testing. Parents and students both were satisfied and found it informative.
