Interactive Session for teachers on Cyber bullying and Security

Theme: To sensitize teachers about the variety of issues related to cyber bullying among adolescents. To develop a platform for students for sharing these issues with teachers in class.
In an ever-changing world that is increasingly becoming digital, it is important to protect yourself from bullying, both online as well as offline. Variety of cases related to cyberbullying like sharing of inappropriate content and images, fake websites or profiles can be seen on various social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter and Youtube. Most of the time, adolescents our involved in these issues because of immaturity and unavailability of the right platform to share their concerns. School has Invited Mr. Manish Bhuttan ( I.T Expert) to sensitize the teachers about the prevailing issues of cyber threats and security so that teachers can be updated and encouraged to generate a platform for the students to come and share about the challenges they are facing in cyber world. Sharing of information about different apps and websites was done in context of parental lock, and check. Regular awareness sessions for the students as well as parents were also suggested by the expert, as working on these issues need holistic approach for effective outcomes.
