Report: World Computer Literacy Day was launched by Indian computer company NIIT to mark its 20th anniversary in 2001, in response to research which suggested that the majority of computer users around the world were men. It occurs annually on 2 December, and is intended to encourage the development of technological skills, particularly among children and women in India.
The day is also directed at improving the teaching of Information Technology.
This Day was celebrated in the school during Assembly.

The Anchors from Tech4Us club started with the importance of this day.

They encouraged the use of computers and electronic devices but at the same time encouraged the sensible use of computer and electronic devices.

A street play was performed by the students of Abhivyakti club showcasing the use of most popular electronic device i.e. MOBILE PHONE

The play encouraged students to use the Mobile Phone responsibly.

The programme was concluded by spreading the message of not only responsible use of electronic device but also responsible disposal of electronic devices.

The Anchors reminded the students about E-waste campaign initiated by Tech4Us club and encouraged them to show their participation.
Gratitude to Principal Mam, Ms. Sneh Verma, Supervisory Heads of all classes for giving the opportunity to organise this campaign.
