‘The highest form of pure thought is in Mathematics’- Pluto

Maths Day Celebration on 28.12.20, Day 5 started withgreat zeal and enthusiasm by the knowledge seekers of classes IX and X. The theme of the day was 'Shoonya se Anant', where the Limit does not exist.  The students of Kulachi Hansraj Model School, Ashok Vihar potrayed the mystical beauty of Maths while simultaneously depicting the captivating power it possesses.

The Honorable Principal addressed the students with her words of wisdomand enlightened them on how to choose the subject domains wisely after class X while following one’s interests and passions.

To continue the voyage of Maths Week, the students extended their tribute to Srinivasa Ramanujan - a self-made Mathematician and exhibited a presentation on his journey From Kumbakonam to Cambridge.Then a short videowas shown to unveil the Hardy- Ramanujan Number, 1729.

Students also discovered the ‘Correlation of Mathematics with other Subjects’ and presented a skit on 'A Day without Maths'.

Next in line, there was an exhilarating presentation that proved 'Maths is everywhere'. Afterwards, a visual on ‘Golden Ratio and its Importance’ was displayed to depict that Mathematics goes beyond the real world; yet the real world seems to be ruled by it. Later, there was a beautiful pictorial representation of synthesising Art Integration with Mathematics in which students showcased their talent and creativity.

The event was concluded with a rousing edition of ‘Math Quiz – Number Ninjas’ and a vote of thanksto express gratitude towards Madam Principal, the In-chargefor their constant support and the teachers and students for their hard work in making the event successful.
