Students of 8B, F, and I started their class assembly on the theme 'RESPECT FOOD ' with chanting of Gayatri Mantra .
Through the potent tool of storytelling, a skit was presented to create awareness on not wasting food. This was followed by a video on Zero Hunger as declared by the UN
( sustainable goals ). The mother daughter duo skit was presented on Food Wastage and understanding the importance of food . A debate between Healthy food v/s Junk food was shown in such a way that it was fun to listen and provide knowledge on why we should prefer healthy food over junk food . It was followed by a blithe dance performance showing how we all think before eating our favourite food and how we worry about calories . Taking it forward a compiled presentation of colourful and message driven posters and slogans created by the students was shown. Supervisory Head Ms. Rashmi Kathuria appreciated children and shared what we all can do at an individual level to achieve SDG 2 zero hunger set by the UN. Everyone was encouraged to Respect food ! We express our gratitude to the respected Principal ma’am for giving us wonderful opportunities of learning in a creative way.

Outcome: The virtual assembly successfully enlightened everyone about How to Respect food in an intriguing manner!
