National Mathematics Day is celebrated on December 22 to honor mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan who was born on this date in 1887. An assembly for celebrating Mathematics Day was presented by the students of classes 8 C and K on the virtual platform.  Importance of Mathematics and its usage in daily life were highlighted in the programme creatively by the students. Solving Rubik’s cube, puzzles, mathematical facts and mathematical jokes intrigued the students. The icing on the cake was a melodious song on mathematics, presented beautifully during the assembly.
