School Uniform
The school uniform is a discipline in itself and a proper dress code must be followed. The DAV Brand Uniform has been prescribed in DAV Schools throughout India. The Uniform is available at the uniform counter.

All Students must wear the school uniform.

Shirt must be tucked in and collar and cuff buttons fastened.

Hair must be well maintained. Boys must keep their hair short without use of cosmetic products like gels etc. No fancy or irregular haircuts are allowed.

Girls with short hair must maintain simple cuts with black hair band.

Long hair should be tied in plaits or ponytails and not fall over face or eyes.

Students should not wear make-up to school.

No fancy clips, bands, nail varnish, nail art, jewellery of any kind. Fancy earrings, lip gloss, chains, bracelets, artificial tattoos are forbidden.

Nails must be well clipped, short and clean at all times.

Hats, caps, sweat bands, sunglasses may not be worn in school campus.

Sikh students must wear patka/turban of maroon colour.

It is mandatory for students to come to school in uniform on school days, PTMs, when they come to school for extra classes, remedial classes or any other work, at all times.

Students of classes Preschool to VI can come to school in casuals on their birthdays, whereas students of class VII onwards, are to come in complete school uniform only.

Students should be habitually clean and neatly dressed in the school uniform. The students I-Card should be worn on all working days and for all school functions.Students who are not in proper school uniform will face disciplinary action.

Sports uniform is not to be worn during examinations.
The school uniform counter is open on all working days from 8:00-2:00 p.m. Parents have the option of buying the uniform from the open market but they must check the correct uniform from the school uniform counter.
