1. Extempore Competition, NCC Cadets , 28-11-2022
On 28 November 2022, the NCC Cadets of class 8 participated in an extempore competition with an intention to increase their self-confidence and build free flow of their thoughts.
Students were presented with topics such as- Women empowerment; Books are better than internet; Impact of internet of our lives, etc.
The competition witnessed several zealous Cadets ready to let their creativity flow.
2. CAREER FAIR, LAKSHAY KI AUR
We at KHMS believe in providing a great exposure for an all round and holistic development of our students.
With the aim of that, we organized a Two Day Career Fair - लक्ष्य की ओर... on 28th and 29th Nov 2022, for preparing students of Class 10th, 11th and 12th for their vast Career Opportunities.
On Day 1, Career counselling sessions were conducted by Expert Career Coach Vaibhav Sharma ( alumini of KHMS) , and Mr. Mayank Laroia (Graduated from IIT-Delhi with a rich work experience in publishing multiple research papers on emerging technologies in WIPO - World Intellectual Property Organisation, a Branch of United Nations).
The sessions were on various emerging conventional and non-conventional career opportunities in all streams. Sessions on suitable stream selection for class 10th was also conducted. Students not just enjoyed learning but also interacted with career experts with relevant questions.
On Day 2, more than 20 National/ International Universities and Institutes interacted with students and parents to directly share career information.
Stalls were present for disseminating career details on Merchant Navy, CUET, JEE mains and advance, NEET, H.M, Culinary Arts, Liberal Arts and science, forensic and bio etc.
Representatives of universities like IP University, Ashoka University, Bennet University, Manav Rachna, Chandigarh University, Amity University, NIIT University discussed important courses, Method of entries, Eligibility criterias etc with students and Parents.
Overseas Options like Australia, Canada, UK ,US ,Germany and Spain were explored. Other representatives of Student Aid Publication, Management, Design, Legal Studies and Law, Health Sciences, were also present to provide important knowledge.
This Two Day Career Fair लक्ष्य की ओर... proved to be successful in promoting Career Development in students, making their transition from school to higher education comfortable, and to bring about a holistic and all round development of students including educational and career dimensions.
