Kulachi Hansraj Model School hosted HWPL’s 2023 Annual Commemoration of the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War! It was a pleasure to have amidst us, Ms. Olga Lee, Managing Director of HWPL India Branch and Ms. Angela Park, Secretary of HWPL India Branch. Our parents, students and teachers participated in the peace letter writing campaign which is a global initiative to support and advocate for the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War and its implementation at the international level. Ma’am principal encouraged everyone to celebrate peace not just as a day, but a way of life. She urged everyone to become patrons of peace and make the world a happier place to reside in. It was heartening to see parents, teachers and students write peace letters whole-heartedly. The event culminated with a commemorative group picture.
We hope that our association with HWPL strengthens and that we are able to create peace loving individuals who are the flag bearers of the future. After all, the seeds of life skills should be inculcated from the very beginning and peace is an integral part of it!
