1. महात्मा हंसराज जी का जन्मदिवस
19अप्रैल 1864 को महान समाज सेवक, परिश्रमी, त्याग की मूर्ति कहे जाने वाले एवं महात्मा शब्द को सार्थक करते महात्मा हंसराज जी का जन्म हुआ था। उनके आदर्शों एवं कार्यों से प्रेरित कुलाची हंसराज मॉडल स्कूल के सभागार में 19अप्रैल 2023 को पूर्ण उत्साह के साथ महात्मा हंसराज जी का जन्मदिवस मनाया गया। कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ मन-मस्तिष्क को सकारात्मकता प्रदान करने वाले हवन द्वारा हुआ । जिसमें कक्षा सातवीं एवं आठवीं के विद्यार्थियों ने बढ़-चढ़कर भाग लिया। हवन में श्रीमान गजेन्द्र शास्त्री जी द्वारा बताए गए मंत्रों के शुद्ध उच्चारण एवं उनके महत्व से विद्यार्थी लाभांवित हुए। कार्यक्रम में जहॉं एक ओर हंसराज जी के जीवन से परिचित करवाया गया, वहीं दूसरी ओर उनके द्वारा किए गए कार्यों एवं दी गई शिक्षा से कविता, नाटक,गीत तथा वैदिक प्रश्नोत्तरी के माध्यम से विद्यार्थियों को अवगत करवाया गया ।

On 13 April 2023, The Kulachi Global Club organized an information session by Team GoSharpener for 50 students to promote Sustainable Development in the school.
GoSharpener is a School Student Network where action-oriented young minds from all across the globe meet, discuss and act on ways of making the world a better place. The platform enables impactful contributions through secure communities, safe and meaningful interactions, experiential activities, and curated events related to United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals.
Students from classes VII-IX participated in it and learnt about the workings of GoSharpener.
KHMS hopes for a fruitful collaboration with Team GoSharpener to contribute our part in helping India rank number 1 in Sustainable Development.

Constantly moving towards the above stated goal with a new zeal, new energy, and new objectives to accomplish for the session 2023-2024, an ‘Orientation Programme’ for the learners of class X was organised on Monday, 17 April, 2023 by Kulachi Hansraj Model School, Ashok Vihar, Delhi.
The session commenced with welcome address of parents and Principal madam by Ms Lata (Counsellor, Psychology Dept.) who brought about the relevant information about POCSO act at the very onset.
Subsequently, respected Principal ma’am received the parents with warm welcome address for taking out their precious time in attending the event.
Ma’am apprised the parents closely about the syllabus, examination, and evaluation system by sharing the tips to prepare their wards for examination as per the pattern of CBSE. She discussed about the importance of preparedness amongst students for stream selection, cautioned about students picking bad habits due to bad influence in the tender age, and the relevance of POSCO act as well.
In the end, the parents were informed about their ward’s safety as the onus of being disciplined for their successful academic year falls on every small effort they make towards their goal. The session was ended with words of gratitude for the parents by ma’am Principal for arriving at the event in light of their ward’s concerns.
4. Hear It From The Stalwarts - A special talk by eminent designers of the fashion industry

Dr. Himani Chaudhary welcomed all.
The ace fashion designer Mr. Ashish Soni encouraged students by saying that there is no better time to design and emphasised that there has been a big rise in terms of platforms to show case, there is a structured industry and there is also corporatisation of fashion products.
Ms. Meena Murthy Kakkar told students to not get carried away by what people say and also spoke about not getting distracted by the gender ratio. Both the genders get equal representation and opportunities in the industry.
Mr. Antonio Maurizio, Dean, Pearl Academy, said that Indian designers have a special ability to stick to the roots. One can get inspired for designs anywhere. About creative economy he stated that the rest of the countries are striving to attain sustainability but India is already doing it rather teaching it to the world. Environmental sustainability, financial sustainability and social sustainability were talked about by Ms. Meena. Everyone emphasised that we Indians have an advantage of having a vast population and people are looking for new items. As a designer one has to be an initiator.

The speakers answered to the students’ questions such as ,”How do I tell my parents that I want to pursue fashion?” and many more.
Students were extremely delighted to get answers to their questions.
