The morning of Thursday, 18 May 2023 witnessed the Induction Ceremony of Generation Global Club of the school. The Conference Room scented with the feelings of love and peace and was lit up with the light that shines within the hearts of the youth to build a better future together.
Ms. Princi Girotra, club-coordinator welcomed everyone and the day started with the Felicitation Ceremony of the Guests- Madam Principal, Club Incharge- Madam Yashu, Supervisory Heads- Madam Vandita and Madam Charu for their warm and valuable presence.
This was followed by the lighting of lamp of knowledge along with prayer.
Then, Mauli (X-B) and Ipshita (IX-A) presented their welcome address to the club members. Darsh (X-B) and Kanika (X-B) presented the previous year’s club report as well as past achievements, following which, Navya (VIII-E) and Kashvi (VIII-E) shared the club’s future plan of action.
Thereafter, the ceremony turned into a joyride of emotions- a play on the urgent need to work for Sustainable Development Goals and a song to “Heal the World” were performed by the students of Classes VII, VIII and IX.
Next, the Office Bearers 2023-24 of the club were pinned with badges by the guests and the day ended with Madam Principal’s motivating and inspiring address to all Club Members.
Finally, club-coordinator: Ms. Pallavi Marwah, on behalf of the entire club presented her vote of thanks and promised to make KHMS a plastic free school with a constant endeavour to work towards Sustainable Development.
