In order to help children understand the significance of health and its multifarious aspects, students of class 7 & 8 celebrated World Health Day on April 8, 2024. As part of the celebration, students were encouraged to bring healthy food items to school. The initiative aimed to raise awareness about the importance of nutrition and healthy eating habits in maintaining overall health and well-being.
- WORLD HEALTH DAY CELEBRATION at KULACHI HANSRAJ MODEL SCHOOL
The students of Kulachi Hansraj Model School participated in an intra school cooking competition organised by the department of Home Science and FDGT. The theme of the competition was “Let’s go vegan and save the planet”. The participants were required to prepare a vegan snack for adolescents. The participants were very excited and they did their homework very well. They prepared exquisite nutritious dishes using substitutes for dairy products like cashew paste, tofu, coconut cream, vegan mayonnaise, etc. All the participants were encouraged and appreciated by our principal ma’am, Mrs. Sneh Verma and senior secondary school in-charge, Mrs. Yashu Kumar.
- On the occasion of World Health Day Students of Class 6 created healthy habit colourful collage posters promoting overall wellness and positive lifestyle choices.

- On the occasion of World Health Day ,students of class 5 were sensitized to remain healthy by eating nutritious food, fruits and vegetables.They were made aware about the importance of physical and breathing exercises.
With ‘Mindfulness Jars’ activity where they did breathing exercises and learnt about relaxation techniques.
- On the occasion of World Health Day ,students of class 4 were sensitized to remain healthy by eating nutritious food, fruits and vegetables.They were made aware about the importance of healthy life styles .They made their bracelets representing different healthy habits . They practice and wore the bracelets as reminders for adopting healthy habits.
- A Mentorship Programme on Mastering Strokes was organised for the students of Cambridge Class 4. The aim of the workshop was to enhance participants' handwriting skills through practical techniques and exercises. The session commenced with an introduction to the importance of good handwriting and its impact on communication. Participants were then guided through various handwriting exercises focusing on posture, grip, paper positioning, different strokes and letter formation.
- Activity - Life Journey Timeline: Reflecting on Significant Milestones from Birth to Present
Class - 6 I, J Cambridge
Students embarked on a journey through time by creating personal timelines, mapping their life's milestones from birth to the present. This hands-on activity illuminated the interconnectedness of personal and historical events, fostering a deeper understanding of the study of the past.

- In order to celebrate World Health Day, an interesting JAM (Just a minute) session was conducted with Class 7, 8 and 9 Cambridge students. This session helped the students to ponder over health-related issues and unleashed their creativity at the same time. This session ignited the spark of innovation in young minds.
