VARIOUS EVENTS IN PRIMARY WING (OCTOBER)

- The special assеmbly on Deepawali by  Indira House rеflеcted thе truе еssеncе of the fеstival showcasing the most loved tale of all times through various dances and enactments 

The theme of Sustainability and conservation of resources was beautifully highlighted by the students.
Mr Simon McLoughlin,  teacher from United Kingdom attended the special assembly and was mesmerized by the sheer beauty and wonderful performances.
 

- Teachers’ Day 

Teacher’s Day was celebrated zestfully.
 The special assembly depicted the changing forms of imparting education from traditional times to modern times . The true spirit of gratitude towards teachers could be felt. It was truly an engaging programme with lots of music, dance and festivity.

- The victory of good over evil is celebrated all over our country in so many different ways... Be it Ambe ma's garba, Durga ma's pujo, or Ramleela... The fundamental celebration remains the same at heart: the removal of darkness by light; the removal of arrogance by humility; the removal of ignorance by knowledge.

On the occassion of Dussehra, Tilak house performed a special assembly with the theme: Mann se Ravan jo nikale, Ram uske mann mei hai. Dusshera Assembly
 

- Diwali Mela was held at Primary wing on 21 and 22 October 2024 

Students participated with gusto, enjoying the delicious eats, fun games , Dance sessions,  tattoo and other skill based games 

- Class 1D presented informative content that conveyed the spirit of unity, tradition and joy that defines India's rich festival heritage. 

The presentation showcased the vibrant diversity of Indian festivals, highlighting  major celebrations like Diwali, Holi, Gurupurab and Eid-ul-Fitr and their cultural significance.

-Light and Shadow Show

Cambridge Class 2
 
Students of Cambridge Class 2 learnt about shadows through various lights and shadow activities including shadow theatre,a creative and immersive way to engage students in storytelling through shadow play.
The show was visually stunning  and students explored varoius themes  with the help of shadows.
 
The students also experimented with changing shadows providing them hands-on and making learning interactive, fun and engaging .

 

- Feier zum Tag der Deutschen Einheit at Kulachi Hansraj Model School (German Unity Day Celebration)

 
Cambridge Learners of classes 7-8 celebrated German Unity Day with great fervour.  Class 7 students participated enthusiastically in Finger Painting Activity of German Flag whereas Class 8 students acquired knowledge about the importance of this day through videos shared by the facilitator wherein they learned about the history of Germany and the events that led to the fall of Berlin Wall. This celebration indeed gave an opportunity to the learners to become innovative, confident, and reflective, as well as cultivate international mindedness and growth mind set in them. It was a resounding success. It achieved its objectives of educating students about a crucial historical event and promoting the values of unity, reconciliation, and cultural diversity.

- Cambridge Fiesta

Classes 1&2
 
Cambridge fiesta is a fun and lively event where students come together to celebrate with various activities. It’s a time to showcase school spirit, creativity, and talent. Vibrant colours filled the classrooms of Cambridge 1&2 with sunshine and joy when students presented poems andamazing facts about animals.
They also did Q-tip painting on the third day , beautifully spreading the colours with love and sparlkle!

- A Workshop on Emotional Wellbeing and Embracing the Emotions was held for students of Class 6 in order to help add  mindfulness as a trait and empower self-awareness

The engaging, informative sessions by Ms. Simer  Juneja and Ms. Divyanshi Behl  were  fruitful and  provided an insight on managing socio- emotional well-being.
 
- Students of classes 4&5 enjoyed the movie Binny and Family with their class mates and teachers.
The movie got the essence of family values and left the children emotionally charged. The outing was very enriching and helped inculcate social and interpersonal skills.
 
- CAMBRIDGE FIESTA
Event: Tasty Treasures
The tiny tots of Pre Primary Cambridge explored the land of tastes- sweet, spicy, salty and sour by making dishes that are yummy to taste and a treasure to sight . The hidden talent of the young chefs was revealed as they explained the ingredients and method of preparing the dish.
 
- The students of classes 4&5 enjoyed the movie Binny and Family with their class mates and teachers.
