The Christmas spirit filled the hearts of the children of class 7&8 as they wholeheartedly participated in decorating their classroom with their friends. A festive atmosphere enveloped them, spreading joy and enthusiasm among the students on Christmas Eve, creating a memorable celebration of togetherness and cheer.

Event: Ramanujan Day

As Srinivasa Ramanujan quoted:
"The pure mathematician, like the poet, is a maker of patterns."
This quote reflects his view that mathematics, like poetry, is an art form that can be found in the patterns of everyday life, where beauty and structure coexist in the world around us.
On the occasion of Ramanujan's birth anniversary, students of Class 7 and Class 8 participated in engaging and creative math-related activities to honor the legendary mathematician.
Class 7 students crafted personalized math book jackets, incorporating mathematical concepts, symbols, and designs. This activity not only enhanced their artistic skills but also deepened their understanding of mathematical ideas through creative expression.
Meanwhile, Class 8 students embraced the spirit of Indian culture and mathematics by designing intricate mathematical rangoli patterns. By using geometric shapes and numbers, they explored the beauty of symmetry and mathematical patterns, celebrating both Ramanujan’s genius and the artistic heritage of India.
These activities provided a hands-on approach to learning, combining creativity with mathematics in a meaningful way, and encouraged students to appreciate the profound impact of mathematics in everyday life.

Event: National Mathematics Day 2024

The enthusiastic learners of Kulachi Hansraj Model School(Primary Wing) celebrated National Mathematics Day with a variety of Math activities.

In honor of National Mathematics Day, we organized a fun and challenging Mathematics Quiz for our students!
It was an exciting activity that not only tested their problem-solving skills but also helped them appreciate the beauty and importance of mathematics in our everyday lives.
All the students of class 9 actively participated in the quiz which covers the questions based on history of Maths, logical reasoning, geometry and arithmetic.
Students of classes 3 to 6 performed various fun filled activities like playing Board games,creating models using 3d shapes and to honour the great Mathematician 'Ramanujan birthdate Magic Square'was created by all learners using their own birthdate.
Students thoroughly enjoyed and did all activities with a great zeal.

Event: Special Assembly on Human Rights Day

On the occasion of Human Rights Day, Indira House organised a special assembly on 20 December 2024 to raise awareness about the importance of human rights and to remind everyone of the fundamental freedom and protection that every individual is entitled to.

The assembly began with the school prayer, followed by the classical dance performance showcasing the essence of peace and harmony. Next was a Nukkad Natak emphasising on the need to fight for one’s rights and stand up against injustice.

This was followed by a song performance by the students accompanied with the budding instrumentalist of the school. The lyrics drawn from the theme of love, hope, unity, connection and self discovery resonated deeply with all present there.

Dance is the hidden language of the soul that is capable of expressing without spoken words. The show concluded with the dance performance which added more vibrance to the event. The powerful performances received a round of applause from the audience as it effectively conveyed the message of how human rights can transform lives and communities.
