प्रसिद्ध आर्य समाजी और शिक्षाविद महात्मा हंसराज ने शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में अनुकरणीय योगदान दिया था। उनके प्रयासों से देशभर में डी.ए.वी. के नाम से 750 से भी अधिक विद्यालय व महाविद्यालय गुणवत्तापरक शिक्षा प्रदान कर रहे हैं।
महात्मा हंसराज जी का आर्य समाज तथा डी ए वी संस्थान के उत्थान में महत्वपूर्ण योगदान है। उनको याद करते हुए 19 अप्रैल 2025 को महात्मा हंसराज जी के जन्मदिवस के उपलक्ष्य में , कुलाची हंसराज मॉडल स्कूल के विद्यार्थियों ने यज्ञ में भाग लिया ।
उनके आदर्शों व सिद्धांतों को अपने जीवन में धारण करने का संकल्प किया।
 

*MET GALA OF LITERATI AT KHMS*

The third day of the Literature Fest on 17th April ,held as part of the Foundation Day celebrations, was a vibrant and engaging experience for all attendees. The day featured a series of cultural performances that captivated the audience, beginning with Mother’s Day – a heartfelt play that paid tribute to the selfless love and sacrifices of mothers.

This was followed by a delightful medley of songs and an energetic dance performance, adding rhythm and color to the celebration. A unique segment showcased characters from different historical eras interacting with each other, sparking both laughter and thoughtful reflection among the audience.

A highlight of the day was the felicitation of Ms Yashu Kumar, Senior Supervisory head, for her invaluable contributions and dedicated service. Her recognition was met with enthusiastic applause and admiration from both staff and students.

The event beautifully combined art, history, and heartfelt moments, making it a memorable part of the Foundation Day celebrations.

Day‑2: Literature Festival – April 16, 2025

The Quill Symphony – Melodies, Monologues and Masterpieces

The second day of the school’s 54th birthday celebrations bloomed with energy and literary flair through The Quill Symphony – Melodies, Monologues and Masterpieces, a vibrant showcase under the ongoing Literature Festival. Hosted by the enthusiastic students of Class 9 & 10, the event began with a soulful rendition of the DAV Gaan, followed by a graceful floral welcome of the esteemed Chief Guests, a renowned author Mr. Abhishek Sharma and Storyteller Sarika, who is also our school’s alumna. Principal Madam’s warm and inspiring address set the tone for the morning.

The programme featured a well-curated lineup of expressive and impactful performances. Highlights included the intense Macbeth – A Mini Edition, the poignant Echoes of the Last Man, the melodious Literary Chords – Heal the World, the thought-provoking Bard Battle quiz, and the visually powerful Mime Act – Shakespeare’s Seven Ages.

The Chief Guests’ appreciative address added value to the celebration. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks and the National Anthem.

Kulachi Hansraj Model School marked the beginning of its 54th Foundation Day celebrations with a vibrant Literature Festival on April 15,2025 for students of classes VII and VIII. The day began with the ceremonial lamp lighting and an inspiring address by the Principal. The chief guest, Dr. Devjani Ray, Associate Professor, Department of English, Miranda House, University of Delhi, encouraged students to embrace reading.

The festival featured expressive story narrations and powerful dramatic monologues—from Hamlet’s soliloquy to the verses of Sarojini Naidu and A.P.J. Abdul Kalam’s vision. A creatively imagined talk show brought literary icons like Charles Dickens, Jane Austen, Sudha Murthy, Ruskin Bond, and Chetan Bhagat into engaging discussion.

The event concluded with Krishna’s Call, a touching performance from the Mahabharata. Dance and orchestra added beauty to the celebration. The festival left everyone enriched, inspired, and deeply connected to the world of literature.

Visit to SRCC, Delhi University

Our school had the enriching opportunity to visit Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) for ESCAPADE 2025, Asia’s largest undergraduate Management Festival. We began with an insightful campus tour led by SRCC students. Students from our school also actively volunteered and showcased their talents on stage, adding pride to the experience. The highlight of the event was an inspiring session with Colonel Shivendra Kanwar, a decorated army veteran, who shared powerful life lessons on purpose, resilience, and sacrifice. His fearless stories and profound wisdom left a lasting impact on all of us. It was a truly memorable and motivational experience that offered valuable exposure and inspiration for our future aspirations.

"When education meets leadership, transformation begins!"

On April 7, 2025, the grand Plenary Hall at Bharat Mandapam, Pragat Maidan, New Delhi, came alive with energy, pride, and purpose as it hosted a magnificient celebration of leadership and learning. Over 2800 students, educators, principals from 19 DAV schools across Delhi, alongside senior members of DAV College Managing Committee (DAVCMC), came together to extend a heartfelt welcome to Delhi’s newly elected Chief Minister, Mrs. Rekha Gupta. The gathering marked not just a ceremonial occasion, but a powerful reaffirmation of unity, vision, and the shared commitment to building a brighter future for Delhi.

The event commenced at 10:15 am with a mesmerising cultural programme that showcased the rich tapestry of Indian arts:

  • Ganesh Vandana: An enchanting Kathak performance by alumni Ananta Verma (Batch 2025, DLDAV Shalimar Bagh) invoked divine blessings.
  • Solo Dance – “Jatatabi Gala Jwala”: Ananya (Batch 2018, SB DAV, Vasant Vihar) captivated the audience with her expressive Odissi rendition.
  • Solo Song Performance: Shaurya Khurana (Batch 2025, Kulachi Hansraj Model School) delivered a soulful melody that resonated with all.
  • Folk Song: Himadri (Batch 2022, AGDAV Model Town) brought the essence of Indian folklore to life through his vibrant singing.

At 11:00 am, the Honourable Chief Minister, Mrs. Rekha Gupta arrived and was warmly received by Sh. Punam Suri Ji, President of DAVCMC. The ceremonial lamp was lit amidst the chanting of mantras, symbolising the dispelling of darkness and the ushering in of knowledge. A heartfelt floral welcome was extended to Mrs. Gupta, accompanied by the presentation of the Vedas and a traditional shawl, underscoring the deep respect and admiration held for her. Students from DAV Paschim Enclave then performed a melodious welcome song, setting a harmonious tone for the proceedings.

Dr. Nisha Peshin provided an insightful introduction to DAV’s legacy and the event’s purpose, emphasising the institution’s commitment to holistic education and societal contribution. Following this, Sh. Punam Suri Ji delivered a warm welcome address, highlighting the collective aspirations of the DAV community.

In her keynote address, Chief Minister Mrs. Rekha Gupta articulated her vision for Delhi, ensuring the well-being and prosperity of all.

Mrs. Gupta lauded the contributions of Arya Samaj, noting, “The contribution of Arya Samaj in the service of humanity and the advancement of society is unparalleled.” Her speech resonated deeply with the audience, inspiring a collective commitment to the city’s development.

Post the Chief Minister’s departure, the audience was treated to an invigorating motivational session by renowned author and entrepreneur Mr. Ankur Warikoo. His engaging discourse left students motivated and reflective. The event culminated in a powerful fusion dance titled “Devi,” performed by alumni artists Khyati (Batch 2010, DAV Pushpanjali Enclave) and Isha Aggarwal (Batch 2019, Kulachi Hansraj Model School). This performance, blending Kathak and Bharatnatyam, eloquently depicted themes of women’s empowerment.

The gathering concluded with the serene chanting of the Shanti Path, symbolising peace and unity. This event not only celebrated cultural heritage and academic excellence but also reinforced the DAV community’s unwavering support for visionary leadership and a shared commitment to making Delhi a better place for all.

The event was a memorable blend of inspiration, cultural pride, and collective hope - a true reflection of the DAV spirit and our unwavering commitment to nation-building!
