*Passing the Torch: Investiture Ceremony 2026–27*
Kulachi Hansraj Model School proudly conducted the Investiture Ceremony for the session 2026–27 on May 19,2026 in the school auditorium, marking the formal induction of the new Student Council and House Appointees. The ceremony was graced by the inspiring words of Ms. Archna Koul, Principal, Kulachi Hansraj Model School, who also shared and applauded the outstanding CBSE Class XII results. She congratulated the newly selected council members and encouraged them to lead with dedication, integrity, and responsibility. The event witnessed the ceremonial handover of flags and badges, the oath-taking ceremony, and the formal introduction of the new team of student leaders. The new head boy of the school for the session 2026 -27 is Vansh Jain of class XII J and the new head girl is Mugdhaa Grover of the same class. It was indeed a proud moment celebrating leadership, commitment, and new beginnings.

Blood Donation Camp by Rotary Club
Proud moments for the "Navikrit "Kulachi Interact Club as we successfully organised a Blood Donation Camp during the PTM ogn 16th May 2026 under the guidance of our respected Principal Mrs. Archna Koul. We were honoured by the gracious presence of Rtn. Rakesh, District Interact Chair, whose encouragement inspired everyone present. The NCC squad along with the dedicated Interact Club volunteers actively motivated parents and visitors to donate blood for this noble cause. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, spreading awareness about the importance of blood donation and humanity. Heartfelt gratitude to all the generous donors who came forward to save lives. Donor certificates and appreciation certificates were presented to recognise the selfless efforts of donors and volunteers alike.
Together, we learnt, served, and took a step towards building a more compassionate society.

Orientation for parents of Class IX
An Orientation Programme for the parents and students of Class IX was organised on 16 May 2026 at Kulachi Hansraj Model School. The programme aimed to familiarise parents with the new academic structure and learning system introduced by CBSE. Supervisory Head Ms. Charu Gambhir Bajaj addressed the gathering and explained the CBSE’s New Curriculum , New books, The newly introduced subject Kaushal Bodh, and other major changes in the examination system. Principal Ms Archana Koul encouraged parents to work in partnership with the school for the holistic development of students.

Literature Fest 2026: Verse, Voice, Vision !!!
Kulachi Hansraj Model School hosted Lit Fest 2026, celebrating literature as a vibrant confluence of languages — Hindi, Sanskrit, English, and German — all under one roof. The event was graced by Chief Guest Mr. Rajesh Beri, renowned writer and producer, whose presence added inspiration and creative insight to the occasion. The program commenced with a warm welcome address by Principal Mrs. Archna Koul, who highlighted the importance of expression, creativity, and cultural rootedness in today’s world. Highlights included 'Scripting a legacy tracing the school’s journey since 1972, Characters Come Alive, a Sanskrit नाटिका, a German musical presentation, a solo stand-up act, and Hasya Kavi sammelan.The grand finale Crescendo brought the celebration to a spirited close.
The fest beautifully reflected the school’s vision of nurturing voices, ideas, and imagination across languages.

Financial Literacy Workshop@KHMS
Kulachi Hansraj Model School, Ashok Vihar, hosted a Financial Literacy Workshop on April 20, 2026. Principal Ms. Archana Koul welcomed RBI guests Ms. Anita and Mr. Aditya with eco-friendly planters. The session covered key government schemes like PMJJBY, PMSBY, and Atal Pension Yojana. Attendees were also educated on cyber safety, including avoiding OTP/PIN sharing and threats like digital arrest scams and juice jacking. Participants were advised to report fraud via 1930, use the RBI Ombudsman for grievances, and check unclaimed deposits through UDGAM. Stay informed, stay secure!

महात्मा हंसराज दिवस समारोह
19अप्रैल 1864 को जन्मी त्याग व सेवा की मूरत महात्मा हंसराज जी के जन्मदिन के अवसर पर विद्यालय के सभागार में 21अप्रैल 2026 को एक ओर कक्षा सातवीं नाने हेतु विद्यार्थियों कोएवं आठवीं के विद्यार्थियों ने कविता,भजन एवं लघु नाटिका द्वारा हंसराज जी के जीवन से परिचित करवाया और दूसरी ओर हमारी आदरणीय प्रधानाचार्या जी (श्रीमती अर्चना कौल) ने उनके आदर्शों को अप प्रेरित किया।

Navikrit, the Interact Club of KHMS organized a *Recyclomotion Drive* aimed at promoting environmental sustainability and responsible waste management.
The initiative focused on collecting recyclable materials such as plastic sheets, e-waste, old clothes and other reusable items. Students and teachers actively participated in the drive and made this noble program a grand success.

KHMS is not just a school, but a legacy of values, learning, and countless cherished memories!
Kulachi Hansraj Model School, Ashok Vihar, Delhi, celebrated its 55th Foundation Day with great enthusiasm and pride. The occasion marked an important milestone in the school’s journey while reflecting its strong foundation in Vedic values and traditions.
The celebration commenced with a havan to seek divine blessings for the continued growth and prosperity of the institution. This was followed by a special assembly featuring dance and musical performances, which added joy and vibrancy to the event.
Engaging activities were organised throughout the day, including Create a Meme, Podcast/Poem/Poster, and Create a Timeline. A gratitude activity was also conducted, encouraging students to express appreciation for their school and teachers.
The celebration concluded on a meaningful note, reinforcing a sense of pride, unity, and belonging among all members of the school community!

Marketplace Pulse: An Analytical Study
Commerce students of Kulachi Hansraj Model School had an enriching educational visit to Dilli Haat and APJ Abdul Kalam Memorial, gaining real-world exposure to business practices. They interacted with artisans and vendors, observed pricing, demand, and competition, and collected primary data firsthand.
The visit enhanced their communication and analytical thinking, while also building awareness about ethical business practices and cultural heritage. A perfect blend of learning beyond the classroom!

GENERATION GLOBAL ORIENTATION SESSION

The Generation Global Orientation Session for the academic session 2026–27 was conducted successfully, offering students an enriching and intellectually stimulating experience. Led by Mr. Shivanshu Arya, South Asia Partnerships Coordinator, Team Generation Global, the session introduced students to the significance of global dialogue, fostering critical thinking and intercultural understanding.

Class XII conducted the first assembly of the new session 2026-27, celebrating new beginnings and fresh opportunities. The programme featured a meaningful skit on school life, a lively motivational song parody, and inspiring words from our respected Principal ma’am, Ms Archna Koul. The achievements of our merit students were proudly acknowledged, inspiring everyone to aim higher and work harder.
