1. Place Value Robot : Graphic Organiser
Place value is one of the basic concepts that help learners build a wide variety of math skills . Cambridge Class 2 learners engaged in a fun hands on learning activity where the students chose a three - digit number card and then presented it in a place value robot . They carefully wrote the number in standard form , base ten form, decomposed form and word form . The activity helped in strengthening their understanding of the concept effectively.
2. Cambridge Class 4 Maths Activity
Topic- Symmetry of geometrical shapes.
Students brought different cut-outs of geometrical shapes to learn how many lines of symmetry each shape have. Through this activity students got to witness and learn that "A line of symmetry is a line that cuts a shape exactly in half". Students also relate this with some real life objects and try to find some symmetry in them as well.
Students were excited and energetically participated in this activity.
