Visit to IIC for Nordic Baltic Film Festival
Event Start Date : 17/11/2018 Event End Date 17/11/2018

To encourage participation of students in the Nordic Baltic film festival in Delhi as a part of Children’s Day celebration, to give a platform to the students so that they understand about different cultures and communities and to boost confidence of children by giving them exposure of attending events outside school, Students of classes VII and VIII got the opportunity to watch the Finnish film ‘Super Furball’ as a part of Nordic-Baltic Film festival which started last year in Delhi. The film was screened at the India International Centre, Lodhi Road. It was a film (one hour twenty five minutes duration) about a little girl who got mystic powers and became super furball thereby saving the marine life by making people realise that they should not pollute water and be sensitive towards the environment. The film had a deep value attached to it which also made our children more aware and alert. Students also got goodie bags in the form of a lovely mug!!

Teachers Ms. Gunpreet, Ms. Princi, Ms. Charu and Mr. Nitin accompanied the students.

It was quite an enriching and different experience for the students. They enjoyed watching the film and at the same time got apprised about Nordic and Baltic countries!

Thanks to Supervisory Head (7-8), Ms. Rashmi Kathuria for bringing such a wonderful opportunity for students. Gratitude to Principal Ms. Sneh Verma ma'am for embedding international dimension to school. We thank Ms. Meenakshi Mahajan, Public Diplomacy and Communication Officer from Embassy of Finland in Delhi for the invitation.
