Event Start Date : 05/09/2019 Event End Date 05/09/2019

Teachers Day in Kulachi Hansraj Model School is always a day of reckoning. This 5 th of September too will be etched out clearly in the minds of not only teachers but also student teachers and students of Classes VIII and IX.

Everybody assembled in the auditorium to kickstart the day. The entire programme was managed by the students. The ball was set rolling by the DAV Gaan. After greetings and a brief introduction on why we celebrate Teachers

Day, the Principal, Mrs. Sneh Verma was invited on the stage and presented a beautiful basket of flowers on behalf of the entire class XII students. In her address she highlighted the importance of teachers in our lives and why they should command a very high respect. Thereafter began the cultural programme prepared specially for the occasion by Class XII. Two well worded self composed poems by Radhika Narula and Stuti Talwar floored the audience. The stand-up by Tumul and Mudit had everybody in splits. A short play on teacher-student relationship said it all-that a teacher’s influence on her students extends till eternity, ‘ Kaun Banega Sarvashresth Kalakar’ was the next event which stole everybody's heart. The Raazmataaz came to an end with the mind-blowing dance performance which gave the audience a peep into different genres of music that was popular in the 70's, 80’s and 90’s. The finale was a heart rending a soul-searching play ‘Mard’ organised by Asmita Group. Mr. Rahul Khanna was the director, producer and script writer. His efforts were acknowledged and appreciated by the Principal. All the Alumni members who were present on the occasion came up on stage and felicitated the Principal. Mr. Manoj Mittal the convenor of DAV United invited on stage all those teachers who had been students in Kulachi and also all those teachers who joined school before 1990. It was a feast for the eyes to see them all break into a jig to the music of tatad tatad.

After the programme, the student- teachers took over the responsibility of Classes VIII and IX. A two period time- table was framed for them. The teachers stayed in the auditorium for some fun games. The school got over at 12:00 noon and a sumptuous lunch was sponsored by the alumni for the teachers.
