Kulachi Hansraj Model School is celebrating Mental Health Awareness Month to mark the event of World Mental Health Day observed on 10th October. 

The psychology department has taken up this initiative to spread awareness about mental health and the need to fight against stigmatisation. Art is the best possible medium to create awareness as it can reach hundreds efficiently and be understood wholeheartedly without much effort. We're happy to have thought of many ways to do so, such as, giving out beautiful badges to be worn throughout school- marking each person as a warrior against stigmatisation, putting up a very well received special assembly on 10th October itself, hosting competitions like poster making and slogan writing, display board presentation, awareness rally that was carried out within the school, interactive sessions with clinical psychologist- Dr. Aanchal Chattrath, menstrual hygiene awareness campaign, interactive sessions for students of classes 7th-9th on relevant issues like peer pressure and bullying to be initiated by our own students studying Psychology, a visit will also be held to Kulachi Manovikas Kendra for 12th graders, anger management and stress management sessions, the screening of films about psychological disorders for Psychology learners, and an E-magazine to be published featuring articles, write-ups, self composed poems and stories, etc. by the students of Psychology.
