Sports is an integral part of a school curriculum where it not only focuses on physical well being, but aims at mental health as well.Keeping in mind "Fit India " Campaign launched by honourable Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi on 29 Aug 2019,Kulachi Hansraj Model School, Ashok Vihar has organised Annual Sports Day of class IX under the impeccable guidance of Madam Principal Ms. Sneh Verma and our mentor , supervisory head Ms. Yashu Chabra.
The day was commenced by commendable display of strength, leadership, teamwork and never dying attitude by the students of Class IX. Some of the major events were 200 m, 800 m and 600 m race, Shuttle race, three leg race, Tug of War, 50mx 4 rely race, lemon race, Basketball throw etc. The entire ground was adorned by triumph, jubilation and celebration and hoy, which had no boundaries. It seems young birds have opened up their wings to fly amidst the enormous sky.. The day ended with applause and laughter.
The students were able to grasp and understand the importance of Sports and Games in their lives, which paves way to a healthy personality..
