Interactive session on Anti Bullying

Brief Report - Bullying is unwanted, aggressive behavior among school aged children that involves a real or perceived power imbalance. The behavior is repeated, or has the potential to be repeated, over time. To overcome this challenge school has organised anti bullying workshop for students of class VII. Ms. Arti, Director of ANON Global Foundation has been invited to conduct the session. During the session, different types of bullying along with the reasons for it were discussed in detail. Students were encouraged to manage their emotions and realise the impact of using sarcastic words or comments on another person with the help of different activities. At the end various ways of dealing with the situations where they feel they are bullied by someone are suggested.
Number of students involved -400 students of Class VII
Outcome/Result/Impact-The session is able to develop insight among students about their irrelevant use of language and behaviors.
