VARIOUS CLUB ACTIVITIES HELD AT PRIMARY WING IN THE MONTH OF AUGUST

-Teacher’s day has always been one of the most joyous occasion for teachers as well as their students . The card making activity was such a fun to experience in the class. The children of class 1 expressed their purest form of love for their teachers through their beautiful handmade cards . Also , their creative side was clearly evident in their cards . They enjoyed the activity thoroughly and made it a delight to watch for their teachers also .

 Topic:  Hard work has no substitute.
The students beautifully demonstrated that no matter how talented you are, without hard work your potential will remain untapped. They displayed their creativity in their project through dance performance, rhythmic songs and mesmerizing presentation of life story of APJ Abdul Kalam.

Our little enthusiasts from PRE Primary Cambridge have been exploring the wonderful world of story narration! 📚
Lets celebrate their creativity and encourage their passion and love for storytelling.
 
 
-Activity: Pollution Uncovered: Identifying and Understanding Environmental Hazards
 
Class : Cambridge 5 I, J
 
Students participated in a group activity focused on understanding the types of pollution, their causes, and effects. Each group was provided with a set of photos depicting various forms of pollution, such as air, water, soil, and noise pollution. The task was to sort and identify the type of pollution shown in each photo and label it correctly. After sorting, students discussed the causes behind each type of pollution and its effects on the environment and human health. This hands-on activity helped reinforce their knowledge of pollution and its impact on the world around them.

Students  recalled  their experience of visiting a tourist place during vacation.They talked about the place, location, climate  and other features of the place.
 
They shared their sweet memories in the class.
 
- Project Presentation on Family. 
The students of class 1B showcased beautiful presentation on My Family. Children shared knowledge on the importance of Family, what it
teaches us and how different family members teach us about different things and values. They also shared love and affection given by the family members to each other is the strength of the family. The students were very excited about their  performance.
 
- Subject - Social Studies

Activity-Class Committee Election
 
Election for the class committee was conducted.Students formed their own parties and contested for the election.They had organised election campaigns.Members in each group stood for their candidature.They shared unique ideas about the work which they will do for the class if they get elected.
 
The whole class voted and one party was elected to form the class committee.

Topic : where there is a will ,there is a way .
The students of 5I  with their determined effort  and amazing presentation propelled everyone towards an 'Aha' moment. The  students beautifully presented various hearthrobbing displays of  Olympic and Paralympic personalities. The story of  Ekalavya and  Nukkad Natak were breathtaking.The project was truly well weaved with iconic ideas.
 
 
- Students built a working model of rainwater harvesting to explore sustainable water management. The activity began with a discussion on water scarcity and the need for conservation. Facts about rainwater harvesting, such as its role in replenishing groundwater and reducing dependency on external sources, were shared. The process of collecting rainwater from rooftops, filtering it, and channeling it into storage tanks was explained. Students then constructed the model, which demonstrated how harvested rainwater can be used for irrigation and other non-potable purposes. This hands-on activity emphasized the practical benefits of rainwater harvesting in addressing environmental challenges.
 
 
-Janmashtami, the festival celebrating the birth of Lord Krishna is a vibrant occasion filled with joy for the tiny tots of Pre primary Cambridge.Along with fun filled craft activities,dance and celebration,it’s an opportunity to learn from Shri Krishna's life and important values like honesty and compassion ,wisdom and courage

Topic:  Laughter is the best medicine .
 The students of 5H  showcased  how with  laughter, we can lift our  spirits and combat  feelings of sadness. The scintillating performances by the students added a spark to the project.
 
-Activity: Crafting History: Pottery Making Like the Neolithic People
Class : Cambridge 6J
 
Students recently engaged in a hands-on activity where they made small pots using a toy pottery wheel. This exercise was designed to help them understand the traditional pottery-making techniques used by Neolithic people. Through this activity, students experienced the challenges and skills required to craft items without modern tools, gaining insight into the daily life and creativity of early humans.

Rakhi Making Activity
 
Students of classes 4and 5 made beautiful Rakhis to celebrate the festival of bonds between siblings.
 
-To celebrate Independence Day, Class 2 children prepared a tri-colour salad. 
 
Through this activity the children understood the significance of national colours and through this activity the feeling of patriotism was inculcated among the young learners.
 
The children got a chance to show their culinary skills and they really enjoyed eating the healthy salad.

Topic: Food We Eat 
Students of class 2 showcased class presentation on the topic ‘Food We eat’. Through this presentation they acquired knowledge about the difference between junk food and healthy food, variety of food India has and about the importance of eating healthy food.

Topic: Love Thy Neighbours
In the tapestry  of life, neighbours are the vibrant threads. The students  showcased that how we can spread love and lend a hand to our neighbours and live as a family. Through the skits and dance presentations, poems and songs ,the students created an atmosphere of love and generosity wherein they spread the message of  a community where everyone can thrive and cherish their neighbours as a gift.
 
-A Tricolour Bird was made by Class 1 students to commemorate the forthcoming Independence Day . 
This activity was  designed to help the young learners to understand the significance of the national colours but it also encouraged them to work on their fine motor skills, creativity, and understanding of national pride.
 
 
-Independence Day Celebrations at Primary Wing were marked with patriotic fervour and pride for the nation 
Principal Ma'am inspired the students to be focused,  responsible, respectful and positive future citizens full of energy and enthusiasm in her address.
The hoisting of the national tricolour was followed by patriotic song, Qawali -Aye Watan, and inspiring dances paying humble tribute to the nation and reaffirming our pledge to work towards a better India
 
-Super Syllables
 
The sparkling learners of Class 1 Cambridge teamed up to sort the words according to the number of syllables.
The “chin method” is a fun and effective way to help kids identify the number of syllables in a word. 
This interactive method helps children become more aware of syllable segmentation in a fun and engaging way!

Activity: Unity in Diversity Poster Making
 
Students engaged in a creative poster-making activity centered on the theme "Unity in Diversity," where they explored and illustrated how various cultures, religions, and traditions come together to form a harmonious society. Using a variety of art materials, they depicted symbols of diversity and unity. The activity aimed to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of the beauty and strength found in our diverse world. After completing their posters, students presented and shared the inspiration behind their creations.

The Cambridge Learners as well as Generation Global Club students of Kulachi Hansraj Model School showed gratitude for their friends at Lanchester EP Primary School in a heartwarming gesture of international friendship. After receiving beautiful, handmade friendship bands from their partner school, KHMS students created thoughtful thank you cards to express their appreciation. This exchange of gifts and kind words highlights the power of connection and shared experiences. The collaborative effort between the two schools demonstrates the importance of global partnerships and the impact of learning together.
 
 
"To commemorate India's 78th Independence Day, our young artists of Class1 unleashed their creativity with a vibrant art activity: "tricolor  paper bird" making.

The activity concluded with a proud display of their masterpieces in the classroom. A special  contribution  of the young ones to the Independence Day festivities in their own special way.

Topic: Health is Wealth.
The project presentation built an atmosphere of willingness to adapt  healthy food in our daily  diet. The burning desire to follow good eating habits were  showcased in their presentation of Nukkad Natak  and song.

Activity- Neolithic Craftsmanship: Clay Tool Creations
 
Students explored the Neolithic period by crafting replicas of tools and weapons using clay. They researched different types of tools used by Neolithic people, such as axes, arrowheads, and farming implements. Using their creativity and understanding of the era, students molded clay into these shapes, gaining insight into the daily lives and technological advancements of early humans. This activity helped students appreciate the ingenuity of Neolithic people and the evolution of human technology.
 
 
- Learning through experiments is a fundamental aspect of science education.
Experiments allow learners to engage directly with the material.Conducting experiments helps develop essential scientific skills, such as observation, measurement, data analysis, and critical thinking.
 
Students of Cambridge Class 2 are regularly given opportunities to experiment which promote experimental learning  curiosity, encouraging engaging them  to ask questions, explore, and investigate.
 
As a part learning about solids liquids and gases students were engaged in experiment of making carbon dioxide gas and sorting material into solids and liquids.

Addition Bingo is an educational twist on the classic game of Bingo, tailored to help learners to practice and master addition.
Each Bingo card is filled with answers to simple addition problems. This activity is effective and interesting because it turns learning into an exciting challenge, encouraging learners to add the numbers mentally
 
 

-Sharing memories of happy times can bring warmth and joy, rekindling the emotions of those moments. Whether it's recalling a special trip, a celebration with loved ones, or simply a peaceful day, these memories have a way of brightening our spirits.

The Scintillating performance by the students of class 5 E amazed everyone. The students put their remarkable effort in recreating Cricket  World Cup. Their  joy and excitement was  truly visible in  dance performances and dialogue delivering which  added  spark to the project.

Topic: Fortune Favours the Bold
The project showcased how the acts of boldness  with wise actions can bring a good fortune and help us in our prosperity.The students enthusiasm  for their project was awestruck.

 

- Class 1 presented a project on 'Body parts and sense organs'. Children learnt more about how to take proper care of the body, hygiene and safety. They learnt the functions of various body parts and sense organs and their usage and care.

- PROJECT REPORT OF CLASS 2A
Topic: Good Manners and Personal Cleanliness 
 
The students of class 2A presented a project on “Good Manners and Personal Cleanliness” on 30th July 2024.
 
 The students beautifully portrayed the importance of good manners, good habits and told the power of magic words.
 
They explained different ways to keep ourselves, our surroundings and environment clean through role play, skit and poems.
 
Each and every student of the class participated in the project and spoke confidently.

Topic: Unity is Strength
The project presentation was an elaborate showcase of how we can achieve  our wishes  by being United  and make it our strength. The  presentation of  English song and  a well defined skit stole the heart of everyone.

-The clubs of the school add to the knowledge and ability of students and build their mental and physical abilities

- A donation drive was conducted in school  in collaboration with NGOs to help people in  the flood affected areas of the country.
Children generously donated clothes  dry Ration, food, umbrellas, and raincoats.

कक्षा  १ के छात्रों ने “उ “मात्रा संबंधी  वस्तुओं की कलाकृतियां बनाने के लिए क्ले आर्ट का उपयोग किया था।उन्होंने क्ले से बहुत सुंदर “उ “मात्रा वस्तुएँ बनाईं व उनके नाम भी लिखे।इस गतिविधि से उनको अपने कला प्रदर्शन करने का अवसर मिला व खेल खेल अपनी शब्दावली को विकसित किया।
